Gentle Grooming for Young and Sensitive Pets

For puppies and pets new to professional grooming, the first visit is designed to build familiarity rather than rush through a full service. We begin with a temperament and history inquiry, then move into a quiet arrival, a comfort check, and stage by stage grooming based on how your pet responds.

A puppy introduction session is a fixed introductory appointment with scope limits, typically lasting 30 to 60 minutes. It may include a grooming familiarization session, a short comfort-led groom, or a sensitive-pet bath and brush, depending on the coat condition and handling scope assessed on the day.

Calm sessions, clear communication, and practical care notes for every visit.

Paws & Claws Spa offers one household at a time in a quiet Vernier studio, with grooming plans that respect each pet's pace and comfort.

If a pet shows significant stress, pain, aggression, breathing difficulty, or another welfare concern, the session may be shortened, adjusted, paused, or stopped. When matting or coat condition makes a requested result impractical, a shorter practical finish may be recommended.

After the appointment, you receive clear handover notes and practical home coat-care guidance. We also support owners with pre-visit preparation, including simple steps to help the appointment start calmly and smoothly.
