About Paws & Claws Spa

Gentle grooming, done calmly

A quiet grooming studio in Vernier for puppies and sensitive pets. We work at a calm pace, with one household at a time and clear guidance before every visit.

Paws & Claws Spa focuses on gentle grooming for pets that need extra patience, structure, and space. Our sessions are planned around comfort, with a careful approach that respects each pet's temperament and history.

From first introductions to staged grooming plans, we keep the process simple and transparent. If a pet needs a break, a shorter finish, or a change in scope, we adjust the session to protect welfare first.

Our story

A calmer way to start grooming

Built for pets who do better with a slower start and a quieter setting.

Paws & Claws Spa was founded in 2019 with a clear idea: grooming should feel manageable for puppies and pets that are unsure about the process. That means careful preparation, low-pressure handling, and honest communication before and after the appointment.

Each visit begins with a temperament and history inquiry, followed by pre-visit guidance and a quiet arrival. We then assess comfort and handling before deciding how far the groom can safely go.

For some pets, that means a short comfort-led groom. For others, it means a familiarization visit or a staged plan that builds confidence over time without forcing more than the pet can handle.

What matters here

Values that shape every visit

Our approach is built around comfort, clarity, and realistic grooming outcomes.

Q1

One household at a time

We keep the studio quiet and one-to-one, with no waiting area and no overlap between households. That helps reduce noise, distractions, and unnecessary stress during the visit.

C1

Clear before we begin

We start with questions about coat condition, home care, and sensitivities, then explain what is practical for the appointment. Final scope is always based on what is safe and comfortable for the pet.

P1

Puppy-friendly introductions

Puppy visits are short, structured, and limited in scope. They are designed to introduce grooming in a positive way, not to promise a full haircut or every grooming stage in one session.

H1

Useful aftercare guidance

We send practical home coat-care notes so owners know what to do between visits. Small, realistic steps can help keep grooming easier and support the next appointment.
